From One Kid’s Question to a National Movement
The story begins with Brady Snakovsky, a young boy who asked a simple but powerful question: Why don’t all K9 officers wear ballistic vests?
When Brady discovered that these life-saving vests weren’t standard issue — and that many departments couldn't afford them — he set out to fix it. His drive, empathy, and determination sparked the creation of Brady’s K9 Fund, and today, his organization is one of the most respected K9 vesting associations in North America.
Now run by a dedicated team including President Leah Tornabene, a mother of three and wife to a police officer, the nonprofit has grown into a highly organized, community-driven force for good. With a strong Board of Directors and a devoted volunteer base, Brady’s K9 Fund exemplifies what committed people can do when they rally behind a cause.
